Your thought leadership will be integral in shaping how our partners view and utilize SmartChoice’s suite of solutions, and you’ll act as a trusted advisor in helping them grow their own businesses. A self-starter with a strategic mindset, you will spearhead the creation of partnerships with Resellers, Sub-agents, and National Partners, ensuring SmartChoice is their first choice for innovative business communication solutions.

Moreover, you’ll play the part of a people manager, overseeing the relationships with existing partners to ensure they’re achieving their goals while simultaneously driving your own. You will also coach them to succeed, empowering them with tools, techniques, and insights necessary to meet and exceed quotas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hunter Mentality for Partner Acquisition: You’ll relentlessly prospect and identify new channel partners by conducting deep market research and competitive analysis. Your goal will be to expand our partner ecosystem, identifying and reaching out to high-value partners who can amplify SmartChoice’s presence in the market.

Your ability to create trusted, value-driven relationships will be key in ensuring partners consistently work with SmartChoice to meet mutual objectives.
  • Driving Sales through Strategic Collaboration: With your strategic insight, you will collaborate with partners to design and implement high-impact sales strategies that align with both our business goals and theirs, ensuring mutual success.
  • Quota Attainment and Sales Leadership: You’ll be responsible for ensuring partners achieve or surpass their sales targets, guiding them with actionable insights and strategic coaching. You will monitor performance closely, identifying opportunities for improvement to keep them on track.
  • Product Champion & Thought Leader: You’ll become an expert on SmartChoice’s solutions and how they meet business needs, serving as a thought leader for both partners and their clients. You’ll communicate the unique value proposition of our offerings, ensuring partners are empowered to sell effectively.
  • Training for Success: Through continuous sales training and coaching, you’ll enable partners to enhance their consultative selling skills, ensuring they are well-prepared to tackle objections, close deals, and ultimately succeed in the marketplace.
  • Sales Forecasting & Analytical Precision: You will be data-driven, providing leadership with accurate sales forecasts that allow for informed decision-making. You’ll rely on CRM tools to track progress, optimize partner performance, and stay ahead of sales trends.
  • Ensuring Excellence in Customer Support: You will maintain SmartChoice’s reputation for exceptional service by ensuring partners deliver white-glove treatment to every client, from initial engagement to post-sale support, resulting in customer loyalty and satisfaction.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: You’ll work closely with teams across the company—marketing, technical support, and product development—to support partner needs and drive continued growth through seamless collaboration.
  • Reporting & Strategic Communication: Clear, transparent communication will be vital as you report on partner activity, challenges, and potential opportunities, providing leadership with actionable insights for future growth.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, communications, or related fields.
  • Proven experience in partner acquisition within the technology, telecom, or communications sectors, with a demonstrated ability to hunt down and close new opportunities.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently, managing your pipeline, and delivering results in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • A thorough understanding of unified communications and collaboration tools is a strong plus, along with the ability to convey their value to partners.

Perks:

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability
Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026
Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
