As an Outside Partner Account Director at SmartChoice, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and developing strategic partnerships to drive new sales and revenue growth. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with potential channel partners, build and manage relationships, and empower partners to effectively promote and sell SmartChoice solutions.

1. Partner Acquisition:
- Identify and prospect potential channel partners, including Resellers, Sub-agents, and branches of National Partners.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify strategic partners in the industry.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with potential and existing channel partners.
Serve as the main point of contact for partner inquiries, concerns, and escalations.
- Collaborate with partners to develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve mutually agreed-upon objectives and revenue targets.
- Work closely with channel partners to help them consistently achieve or exceed their assigned sales quotas and targets.
- Develop a deep understanding of SmartChoice's product portfolio, features, and benefits.
Effectively communicate the value proposition of SmartChoice's offerings to partners and their clients.
- Provide training and guidance to partners on consultative and strategic selling skills, as well as effective objection handling and closing techniques.
- Collaborate with partners to provide accurate and detailed sales forecasts to meet or exceed quota requirements, using CRM tools.
- Ensure that channel partners offer exceptional customer support to clients, leveraging SmartChoice’s white glove services - addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive buying experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and technical support, to support partners in the sales process and enhance partner relationships.
- Maintain open and transparent communication with management regarding partner activities, challenges, and opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Previous experience in partner acquisition and outside sales in the technology or telecommunications industry is preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Goal-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving results.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Technical knowledge or experience with unified communications and collaboration solutions is beneficial.
