Job Overview:
As an FP&A Expert, they will report to the Chief Financial Officer/Chief Operating Officer. The FP&A Expert’s responsibilities will include providing financial insights and projections to the executive team. They will provide reliable data and analysis to be used in decision-making and planning. In addition, they will prepare accurate monthly financial reports, assist in the preparation of presentations that provide thoughtful analysis using industry metrics, identify action items, and effectively frame decisions that need to be made.

You will be responsible for…
  • Providing FP&A finance support to the accounting and executive teams related to productivity, reporting, and metrics in a timely manner.
  • Identifying and understanding business challenges; propose and create solutions.
  • Partnering directly with the finance and operational teams to collaborate on metrics, goals, and business reviews.
  • Diving deeply into financial data and becoming a subject matter expert to provide additional insights.
  • Working on corporate projects and initiatives that impact the entire organization.
  • Creating presentations that provide insightful analysis, identifying required action items, and effectively frame decisions to be made.
  • Identifying and researching variances to forecast, budget, and prior-year expenses, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
What education & experience you’ll bring...
  • Bachelor’s degree and experience in finance or accounting or a related area and 3+ years of experience in an FP&A function
  • General knowledge of accounting/financial/operational principles
  • Experience developing financial reports and metrics
  • Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with various management levels
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment
  • Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
  • Demonstrated ability to influence others through effective verbal and written communication across an organization
  • High level of commitment to quality work product and organizational ethics, integrity and compliance
  • Comfortable navigating through gray areas without clear solutions
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Self-starter with good time management skills when urgent deadlines need to be met
